Kruko grew up in Rzeszów, and most of our team still lives here. We remember who helped us at the start: someone who explained the first loop, answered a naive question or let us join a real project. That is why social responsibility at Kruko is not a once-a-year campaign. It is part of how we work. We teach, we mentor, we organise events and we support those who have the hardest start.
Every developer once had someone who believed in them. We want to be that someone for the next generation.
We created Learn Coding Academy for adults who want to start a career in IT, and Learn Coding for Kids, where children discover that code is creative play, not another school subject. The courses are made by practitioners who build software every day.
Learn Coding AcademyWe regularly visit children's homes in our region. We run simple coding and robotics workshops, help with computer equipment and school needs, and simply spend time together. Small, regular help means more than one big gesture. We also support Fundacja Podkarpackie Hospicjum dla Dzieci.
We started Rzeszów.js, a JavaScript conference, so that developers from Podkarpacie do not have to travel across the country to learn from the best. We support local meetups and we are proud to be part of the Carpathian AI Summit.
